Georges St-Pierre (born May 19, 1981), often referred to as GSP, is a Canadian mixed martial artist and the current Welterweight Champion of the UFC. St-Pierre is ranked as the #1 welterweight in the world according to Sherdog, and numerous other publications. St-Pierre is ranked the No. 3 pound for pound fighter by ESPN, and No. 2 by Sherdog. In 2008, 2009, and 2010 he was named the Canadian Athlete of the Year by Rogers Sportsnet.

He has 12 post-fight bonus awards, which is the highest total in the UFC. Silva is ranked as the #1 middleweight in the world by multiple publications including Sherdog and is the consensus No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter in the world according to ESPN, Sherdog, Yahoo! Sports and other publications. Silva holds notable victories over former MMA champions Carlos Newton, Hayato Sakurai, Rich Franklin (x2), Dan Henderson, Forrest Griffin, Vitor Belfort, Nate Marquardt and Chris Leben. UFC president Dana White has called Silva "the greatest mixed martial artist ever."
Jonathan Dwight "Jon" Jones (born July 19, 1987), is an American mixed martial artist currently signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship where he is the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion. When he won the title in March 2011, he became the youngest champion in UFC history. As of December 2012, he was ranked as the #1 light heavyweight fighter in the world by various media outlets. His only defeat is a controversial disqualification loss to Matt Hamill that occurred on December 5, 2009.
